A manic portrayal of a dance long forgotten. The tarantella was reserved for the women of southern Italy who were said to be cursed and poisoned by the spider. Its only antidote was to force them into a frightening menace that exhausted the curse and brought them back to life.

Meaning “walk for two” this pair conducts an improvisation on vulnerability and movement, with you as witness hinging on the question; Does my existence depend on your existence.

hannah has been making art her whole life: painting, poetry, performance. where so many places try and extinguish femininity, her work embraces it, and the power of reclaiming voice and body.

The term threshold has been in hannah’s toolkit for a long time. to her, a threshold is a moment to honor that voice inside of you, the whisper in a dream you once had. There are infinite versions of yourself within you. One of them is louder than the others, tapping at the window. It demands a response.

crossing the threshold, This can be a quiet, internal concession, or something sharp and spoken aloud. You come into the space conscious of the present moment, your input to the collective, your current mosaic of emotions. You ask what, of those things, serves you today. What can be displaced or set aside. You find something to which you can say, ‘Thank you, I don’t need you for the next hour.’
